Digital Wood Moisture Meter – LCD Display & Pin Probes
Know your timber before the next step.
Check moisture readings in timber, boards and firewood with a compact digital wood moisture meter. Two contact pins take a resistance-based reading, while the clear LCD helps you compare different pieces or follow changes as wood dries.
A practical check for everyday projects
- Two contact pins: measure directly at the wood surface.
- Four wood-group settings: select the group suited to the timber you are testing.
- LCD percentage display: read the result without interpreting an analogue scale.
- Hold function: keep a reading on screen while you note it down.
- Protective pin cap: cover the probes between checks.

Get a more useful comparison
Select the correct wood group from the supplied guide and take readings at several points. Timber species, temperature, pin contact and measuring position can affect the result. Use consistent conditions when comparing readings.
The pins can leave small marks, so choose an appropriate test area. Handle the exposed probes carefully and replace the cap before storage. This model is intended for wood moisture checks.
